Our History

A.Ghani Qarooni & Associates was established in September of 1965, marking it as one of the first licensed Law Firms to operate in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In 1970 Bahrain witnessed an accelerated boom in the Banking and Finance sector whereby widening the scope and depth of our legal advisory services. Over the years the number of international banks and companies which took Bahrain as their commercial domicile considerably increased, thus the need for the provision of expert legal services to international banks, companies and offshore banking. These developments lead to our associated with Messrs ILIFFE & EDWARDS UK, which took place in July of 1977 where a Law Firm for international legal consultations was inaugurated under the name Qarooni & ILIFFE & EDWARDS. Such association continued till 1983.

Thereafter Messrs CAMERON MARKBY of Moor House, London, UK, joined our Law Firm with the intent to widen our legal services to our local clients and offshore based companies and banks. This partnership lasted for a couple of years until A.Ghani Qarooni & Associates was finally confident and able to run its own business in the same efficiency and professionalism it use to with its previous associations through the assistance of its own team of dedicated lawyers that are fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English.

Since then, our client’s base has ranged of public and privately owned commercial business entities as well as individuals and various governmental institutions, thus allowing our scope of work to rapidly growing.
